Overview and Submission Instructions
Prospective organizers must submit their proposal electronically in required format no later than 23:59:59 (US Pacific Time) on February 19, 2010.
Organized/Invited sessions are to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics, or innovative applications. An organized/invited session consists of four to six related papers that must be electronically submitted through regular review process as for contributed papers. Prospective organizers should include: topic, organizers, a brief statement of purpose for the session, a list of authors and paper titles with paper IDs that will be given at the electronic submission and keywords that describe the topic of the session. Note that for your proposal of organized/invited session, approval by the IROS 2010 Program Committee is required.
Submission of invited papers is available after receiving approval by the IROS 2010 Program Committee. Prospective authors for organized/invited sessions should submit their papers electronically in PDF format. For paper submission, please follow the instructions for paper contribution.
Preparing and Submitting Organized/Invited Session Proposal
►Step 1: Proposal Format
The initial submission of an organized/invited session contribution must be accompanied by summarizing (at most) two (2) pages in the following specified format as a PDF file. Please number and clearly delineate each section:
· Title
· Session organizers (complete address, affiliation, phone, email)
· Abstract, motivation and objectives
· List of presenters with affiliations and status of confirmation
· List of paper titles with paper IDs that will be given at the electronic submission
· Intended audience
· Keywords that describe the topic of the session
►Step 2: Submitting an Organized/Invited Session Proposal
Proposals, no longer than 2 pages in length, following the format above must be submitted online via the PaperPlaza system by February 19, 2010. Decisions will be announced by February 22, 2010. Note that for your proposal of organized/invited session, approval by the IROS 2010 program committee is required. Submission of invited papers is available after receiving approval by the IROS 2010 Program Committee.
